She says she plays soccer because, “It is fun and my my friend Brenda plays too.” If she could have a million dollars she would by a giant soccer stadium, where she would play as a famous and professional soccer player. “I would stalk my cousin Kaly and pull tons of pranks on her,” she replies to being asked what she would do if she was invisible for a day. Something she wishes she could go back in time to fifth grade when life was the best! “Emily is the greatest and bestest, she was my first friend when I moved here.” says Carter Davidson, 8th grader. Dear Dumbledore
By Jane Ward
Dear Dumbledore
I ate McDonald's and almost died. What do I do? Should I sue them?
From Person Who Hates McDonald's
Dear Person Who Hates McDonald's
I don’t think you should sue them. How did you almost die, was it the food, all the people, etc. My advice is to stop going there pick somewhere else to go.

NJHS Party
By Kory Adams
The National Juniors Honors Society, otherwise known as NJHS, had a minor blowout in Ms. Frank’s room. There they watched the quaint Christmas movie, The Grinch, played board games, and rocked the Twister mat. The party was full of hilarity and delicious snacks. Everybody who went had a good time and shared some laughs. All the people there did what they pleased, for example, Cole Neeley said, “I just watched The Grinch,” and Braden Buell answered with a depressing, “I did nothing, but it was still fun.”
Christmas Traditions
By Marcus Justice
Christmas is a celebration of Jesus Christ's birth. During the holiday of Christmas, families gather from all around the world! . Families get together and share in spreading joy to each other and usually a nativity or play of Christ’s birth. The nativity tells the story of Mary and Joseph and their adventure while trying to find a place to stay the night. Xayden Jackman (8th grade) said that his favorite holiday tradition is, “getting Christmas trees.“ Gordonlynn Sefita (9th grade) said that her favorite holiday tradition is, “getting Christmas stockings“. Other holiday traditions are setting out apple cider and cookies for Santa Claus, picking out and setting up a Christmas tree, building gingerbread houses, putting up Christmas lights, baking food, arts and crafts, making Christmas cards, Christmas shopping, and opening a Christmas present on Christmas Eve. We also hang up Christmas stockings, watch movies such as Frosty the Snowman, Polar Express, and Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. Other traditions are reading Christmas stories, writing letters or wishlists to Santa, singing songs like Jingle Bells and the 12 days of Christmas and many more. So, what are your Christmas Traditions?

Spring Cleaning in Your Closet
Do you have a messy closet? Well here is tips to making it look awesome.
-Start with a clean room so the only thing you will see is the things that go into your closet.
-Empty out the entire thing so there is nothing in it.
-Everyone has their own organizing habits so whether yours is by color by type of material or by favoritism you choose.
-Pick your favorite one and start organizing your clothes. You could also do it where not only do you do the organization but you do it also by clothes so for whatever ones you chose you can do it just with in the pants or shirt section and color code it with hangers.
Everything you do with this is your choice! Get creative with it. Find new ways and new things to do with it. Enjoy using your imagination.
Sierra Davis said, “My closet is really dirty and I would definitely use something like this for organization within it. Lorin Whitaker said, “This is a good idea for people who need their closet cleaned.
Nativity Story By Brenda Christensen
Christmas comes with many things like stockings, trees, and presents. Christmas is a time of the year when families get together and memories are made. There are some memories, however, that are remembered during this cold season, like the birth of Jesus Christ. You don’t have to be LDS or catholic to know who he is. He was born to a virgin named Mary who was married to a man named Joseph. They had been traveling many miles to find a place to stay the night. They had gone to several towns, Inns, anywhere they could find! Finally, a man showed them a stable where they could spend the night since his Inn was full. That night Jesus was born. Shortly after, a star appeared in the sky. Three wise men saw the star and hurried to where it was. They knew it symbolized the new king, which had been prophesied of for many years. They gathered their camels and belongings, along with gifts for this new king. They soon reached him and presented the gifts. That wasn’t the end of their night though. It continues for quite a while but we will stop there. Carson Farish says, “At Tuacahn they have a great version of this story. It is definitely one that I would go see again!” That story is known as the Nativity Story and is shared, seen, and told by many during Christmas. The story is just one thing heard during Christmas.

Chinese Water Dolphin
By Ellie Eves and Kaylee Morris
There are a lot of endangered species out in the world today. The Chinese Water Dolphin, also known as the Baiji is endangered. It is nicknamed “Goddess of the Yangtze”, because it is found in the Yangtze River. The Yangtze River is the largest river in Asia. The Chinese Water Dolphin has a white belly and a long narrow beak. It is almost blind. A Chinese water dolphin can grow up to 7-8ft long and can be 500 pounds. And it is now believed to be extinct by some experts. Quinton Sharp feels that we can help save them by not killing them. Check out the comparison of the Baiji dolphin and the human. Shandon Wiler feels sad because the extinct species are going to die soon.
